Palm Angels and Odd Balance Brings ‘ANGELS NEED MATCHA TOO’ to Copenhagen Fashion Week

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, Palm Angels partnered with Odd Balance to create a matcha experience that felt more like a moment of stillness than a typical fashion activation. Under the banner “ANGELS NEED MATCHA TOO,” the collaboration brought a curated matcha bar into the centre of Copenhagen, offering a series of signature drinks that mirrored the brand’s blend of streetwear energy and laid back, Californian attitude.

The experience invited guests to slow down between shows and appointments. Rather than a rushed grab and go coffee, visitors were encouraged to pause, share a table, and connect over matcha crafted with ceremonial grade powder sourced and selected by the Odd Balance team in Copenhagen and Japan.

Each drink became a small ritual: whisked, poured, and served in a way that turned a functional pick me up into a social moment at the edge of the fashion schedule.

Set in the heart of the city, the activation also doubled as an introduction to Odd Balance, the matcha brand founded by Emili Sindlev to make high quality matcha feel fun, accessible, and style forward rather than overly serious or niche.

In pairing that ethos with Palm Angels, the pop up linked two worlds: fashion and wellness, streetwear and slow ritual, inviting guests to see matcha as part of the creative rhythm of fashion week, not just a backstage drink…
