Penhaligon’s Thinks the Real Fragrance Challenge in China is Understanding, Not Discovery

To celebrate 10 years of the Portraits collection, Penhaligon’s has created an exhibition around 13 fragrances and 13 characters, imagined as one eccentric family filled with secrets and rivalries. Visitors move through character rooms and banquet style scenes that introduce each persona before they ever reach the fragrance testing area. In each space, the brand uses decor, storytelling, and atmosphere to make its “complex” portfolio easier to grasp.
