Ellen and Ione Rucker, the dynamic sisters behind Rucker Roots, are excited about this new venture with Walmart!

Rucker Roots, a natural hair care brand, has recently marked a significant expansion by launching its products in select Walmart stores across the United States. The retail partnership introduces Rucker Roots’ beloved product line, which includes popular items such as the Smoothing Sulfate-Free Shampoo and the Define and Stretch Curl Custard, to a broader audience through Walmart’s extensive retail platform.

The Rucker sisters, originally from Lancaster, S.C., now reside in Union County and have been actively involved in developing and promoting their brand. The co-owners of Rucker Roots, sisters Ione and Ellen Rucker, expressed their excitement about this new venture.

Ellen and Ione Rucker, the dynamic sisters behind Rucker Roots, are excited about this new venture. “Launching our line within Walmart’s beauty aisles is a dream come true,” says Ellen Rucker.

“It’s an incredible opportunity to reach more individuals seeking high-quality, natural hair care products and to further our mission of promoting natural beauty through the efficacy of root-derived ingredients.” Rucker Roots products are designed to cater to all hair types, focusing on curly and textured hair.

As a black-owned business, the company takes pride in creating products especially beneficial for black hair, although they are universally applicable. The brand’s formulations are rich in root-derived ingredients, such as ginger, carrot, and turnip extracts, integral to the Rucker Roots Complex® found in their shampoo…
