The leading American luxury jewelry brand, David Yurman has unveiled its latest campaign featuring the brand's new face, Sofia Richie Grainge. The social media sensation is the star of the Fall 2023 campaign, which showcases the brand's newest iteration of their beloved Sculpted Cable collection.
The campaign was shot at the iconic Kellogg Doolittle House in Joshua Tree, California, marking the first time the brand has focused on a single hero collection in a campaign. The stunning backdrop perfectly complements the laid-back luxury that David Yurman embodies, which Richie Grainge effortlessly exudes.
Fashion photographer Glen Luchford captured the campaign's intimate images, with styling by Elin Svahn and creative direction by Evan Yurman. Richie Grainge expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating, "David Yurman embodies everything that I'm trying to express with my aesthetic—with how I dress and how I want to feel, which for me is very timeless and elegant."
The Sculpted Cable collection features a reimagined version of the original helix design, now presented as a subtle, lower-profile relief. Each ridge is meticulously carved and polished to achieve an optimal lustre, resulting in wave-like designs referencing the original Cable's fullness. The collection combines timeless craftsmanship with a modern sensibility, offering pieces in 18K yellow, rose, and white gold, with options for hand-set pavé diamonds.
Evan Yurman, President of David Yurman, expressed his delight at the collaboration with Richie Grainge, stating, "Sofia is a style icon with endless charm, and we're delighted to collaborate with her. She is truly the perfect ambassador to launch these new Sculpted Cable designs, which are the newest evolution of our signature house motif: Cable."
One standout piece from the collection is a bangle adorned with 170 hand-set diamonds in graduated sizes, totalling up to 1.7 carats. These diamonds are skillfully plotted and placed by David Yurman's master craftspeople to emphasize the Cable fluting.
