Overview Of The Accelerator Program
The Adore Me Sustainability Accelerator is designed to foster innovation in sustainable practices by collaborating with startups focusing on climate technology. The program will last six to twelve months, during which selected startups will work closely with Adore Me to integrate their solutions into the company’s operations.
Unlike traditional accelerators, this initiative does not promise equity funding or financial backing. According to Ranjan Roy, Adore Me’s VP of Strategy, the primary challenge for these startups is not securing funding but establishing partnerships and demonstrating their ability to scale and succeed in the market.
First Cohort Of Startups The inaugural cohort of the Sustainability Accelerator includes five startups: EverDye – Focused on sustainable dyeing processes. Carbonfact – A data platform that helps companies track their carbon footprint. Commonshare – Aiming to enhance supply chain transparency.
Pendulum – Specializing in smart materials. Epoch – Innovating in sustainable production methods. These startups will have the unique opportunity to test their products in a mid-sized company environment, which is often more agile than larger legacy brands.
This setup allows for a more effective integration of new technologies and practices.
