The essence of California – known for its sun-drenched landscapes, laid-back lifestyle, and eclectic culture – is the perfect muse for this collaboration.
In celebration of the launch, Thom Browne has taken over Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills with immersive visual installations and special offerings throughout the store, including a made-to-order animal handbag activation available for the first time at Saks Fifth Avenue as part of the partnership.
The collection features women’s ready-to-wear shoes and handbags, each piece echoing the state’s vibrant energy and Browne’s unmatched craftsmanship. What sets this capsule apart is the introduction of a new tweed fabric, developed specifically for this collaboration, which showcases the meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality that both Thom Browne and Saks are known for.
This fabric, inspired by the lace ribbon tweed first introduced in Thom Browne’s Fall 2018 Runway collection, is crafted from 13 different yarns.
It was brought to life by a small team of skilled artisans at ACT3, a fabric manufacturer nestled in the Jurançon region of Southern France, highlighting the global effort behind this locally inspired collection.
