The latest Statista survey conducted in the fourth quarter of 2023 reveals that Levi’s and Fruit of the Loom have achieved joint status as the most popular clothing brands in the United States. Nearly three-quarters of participants expressed favorable opinions towards these iconic brands, placing them neck-and-neck at the forefront of consumer preferences. Hot on their heels are Adidas and Hanes, with both brands also receiving positive feedback from over 70 percent of respondents.

The dominance of the U.S. Apparel Market

The U.S. is the largest apparel market globally, surpassing China’s staggering revenue of approximately 350 billion dollars in 2023. This robust performance highlights the immense scale and influence of the U.S. fashion landscape, which, alongside China, dwarfs markets in other nations. Behind is India, which maintains a distant third place in the apparel market valued at just over 100 billion dollars.
