Blue Elephant has officially opened its first U.S. flagship in Beverly Hills, marking the South Korean eyewear brand’s entry into the American retail market. The opening expands the company’s international store footprint and gives U.S. customers a dedicated destination to shop its sunglasses and optical frames.
Located at 300 North Beverly Drive, the approximately 7,000-square-foot flagship occupies a restored 1940s building in one of Los Angeles’ most established luxury shopping districts. The space will operate as both a retail store and event venue as Blue Elephant builds its presence in the U.S.
The store carries the brand’s full eyewear assortment, with all U.S. styles priced at either $49.90 or $69.90. The Beverly Hills location also introduces a 10-model L.A. Exclusive Collection, giving customers access to styles developed specifically for the market.
A New U.S. Retail Milestone
The Beverly Hills flagship represents an important physical retail moment for Blue Elephant. Founded in Seoul in 2019, the brand has built its business around trend-driven eyewear at accessible price points and now operates 36 stores across South Korea, Japan and the U.S.
Opening a flagship gives Blue Elephant greater control over its product presentation, customer experience and brand environment as it introduces itself to American shoppers. Beverly Hills also places the company within a major fashion and luxury retail market while allowing it to compete with a significantly more accessible pricing model.
The decision to enter the U.S. follows growing demand from international customers at Blue Elephant’s existing stores. According to the company, more than half of sales at its locations in Seoul and Tokyo come from international visitors, with Americans representing its largest Western customer segment.

₩100 Billion South Korean Won Investment Supports Global Expansion
Blue Elephant’s U.S. opening comes after securing ₩100 billion South Korean won, approximately $70 million USD, from private equity firm Affirma Capital. The investment values the eyewear company at approximately ₩400 billion won.
The new capital will support Blue Elephant’s international growth, with the U.S. and Japan identified as priority markets. The company plans to use the funding to expand its physical store network, strengthen global operations and introduce its eyewear offer to more international customers.
For Beverly Hills, the opening adds another international eyewear name to a retail market dominated by luxury fashion and accessories brands. The flagship gives the company a physical platform to introduce the accessible pricing model to U.S. consumers while building awareness through product launches, events and in-store experiences. For Blue Elephant, Beverly Hills is the first step in determining how its fast-growing Asian retail business can translate into a broader American store network.
