Bvlgari Supports New High Jewelry Training Laboratories in Rome

The initiative involves Roma Capitale, the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital and Fondazione Bvlgari. The city’s official announcement identifies €2.7 million invested in laboratories and refurbishment at the center. The new facilities include CAD, forging, casting and goldsmithing workspaces.

Students will learn 2D design, 3D modeling, rendering and preparation for production, bringing digital design alongside hands-on craft skills. “Training a new generation of talent means giving our savoir-faire a concrete future,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, President of Fondazione Bvlgari.

The partnership also includes master goldsmiths and company-based learning, according to the city. It places the transfer of specialized manufacturing knowledge within a public vocational setting, strengthening the connection between education and the work involved in producing high jewelry.
