Tricia Smith, Global CEO of Anthropologie Group, expressed her excitement about the new leaders, who bring extensive retail, merchandising, and business transformation experience to the company.
Anu Narayanan has been promoted to President of Women's: Apparel, Accessories, Weddings, and Beauty. Since joining Anthropologie in 2018, Narayanan has successfully led the women's apparel and accessory business. With this role expansion, she will now also oversee the beauty and weddings categories. Under her leadership, her teams have achieved historical highs in sales and customer acquisition, making her a visionary leader in Anthropologie's growth plans.
Aaron Mutscheller joins Anthropologie Group as President of Anthropologie Home and Terrain. In this role, he will be responsible for the home and garden business across all distribution channels. Mutscheller will lead design and buying, as well as production and global sourcing for the brand. He brings over two decades of experience in business development, brand strategy, product innovation, and operational excellence in the home retail and interiors space, having held leadership positions at Williams Sonoma, Serena & Lily, and Nickey Kehoe.
Holly Thrasher has been named Chief Merchandising Officer of Apparel and Weddings. Thrasher joined Anthropologie in July 2021 after spending 18 years at Nordstrom. As an instrumental leader on Narayanan's team, she has overseen digital merchandising advancement, product evolution, and leadership development, contributing significantly to the success of Anthropologie's apparel business. With this appointment, Thrasher will now also manage the Wedding's category.
