Bloomingdale’s Debut Bloomie’s Store In Downtown Seattle

I have over 10 years of experience in the retail…
Bloomie’s is anticipated to open in 2023 within University Village in the Ravenna neighborhood, located north of Downtown Seattle. This comes off the heels of another successful introduction of the 50,000-square-foot Bloomie’s store in the greater Chicagoland area in August 2022.
Bloomie’s, which opened its first location in Fairfax, Virginia, in 2021, is Bloomingdale’s smaller store concept that provides a casual, contemporary, and highly curated experience. On November 17, 2022, Bloomingdale’s opened it’s second “Bloomie’s at Westfield Old Orchard Mall.
The store debut comes off the celebration of Bloomingdale’s 150th anniversary and announcement of a new partnering with Ayesha Curry to launch of The Carousel at Bloomingdale’s, a new shop curated by the two-time New York Times bestselling author.
“We are thrilled to enter the Seattle market with the opening of our third Bloomie’s location,” stated Charles Anderson, Director of Stores, Bloomingdale’s. “The new flexible store experience has been well-received in other cities as it remains authentic to the Bloomingdale’s brand yet brings a new and exciting energy to our shoppers. We can’t wait to be a part of the community and for the people of Seattle to be a part of the Bloomie’s story.”
The smaller concept store will provide a casual, contemporary, and highly curated experience, featuring an edit of top brands in a broad range of men and women’s categories including apparel, accessories, beauty, giftables and more.
