BYREDO has opened a new flagship boutique at 4–6 Gough Street in Hong Kong’s Central district, marking the brand’s first standalone street-level location in the city since its Causeway Bay outpost on Fashion Walk in 2022. The store’s exterior is defined by folded stainless steel panels that reference Hong Kong’s traditional shopfront gates, offering a brutalist silhouette softened by BYREDO’s signature minimalist design language. “More than a store, it is an atmosphere. A distilled expression of material, memory, and movement,” the brand said
Inside, the space layers hammered granite flooring, beige textured plaster walls and raw steel alongside warm accents of cherry wood. Burgundy lacquered panels, described by the brand as a “signature hue within BYREDO’s visual universe,” introduce depth and contrast throughout the space. Concealed lighting coves and directional accents create subtle shifts in shadow and depth, allowing the interior to unfold at a measured pace.
Fragrance leads the product mix, with Eau de Parfum front and centre, followed by body care, hand ritual, home fragrance, makeup and Byproduct, each presented across sculptural islands. A built-in sink is integrated seamlessly into the architecture, allowing customers a tactile moment to test products on site. The store is open Monday to Sunday, 11:00 to 20:00. BYREDO first entered the Hong Kong market in 2015 and opened its first standalone flagship on Causeway Bay’s Fashion Walk in 2022. The new Gough Street location deepens the brand’s presence in one of Asia’s most competitive luxury retail markets.
