Yves Saint Laurent Beauty has checked into Shanghai in a bold new way, transforming a former industrial silo into the immersive LOVENUDE HOTEL pop-up, a full journey-led experience built around its LOVENUDE lipstick line.
Last year, YSL Beauty made its mark on Shanghai with a bar concept. This year, the brand leveled up entirely with the LOVENUDE HOTEL, an immersive space where visitors do not simply browse products but formally check in. The pop-up runs from April 24 to May 10, 2026, inside GATE M West Bund Dream Center’s silo, part of Shanghai’s vibrant West Bund cultural corridor.
The activation is designed as a complete hospitality ritual. LOVENUDE collection’s soft, nude-pink color story, from private trial zones for shade matching to fragrance discovery moments. The LOVENUDE lipstick line anchors every room and touchpoint throughout the pop-up.
The collection’s nude-pink palette is translated into the scenography itself, with low-saturation pink design and photogenic hotel details that make the space highly shareable. Beyond lipstick, the experience also incorporates YSL Beauty fragrance discovery, weaving scent into the narrative as guests move through each space.
Unlike invite-only activations, the LOVENUDE HOTEL offers free entry with no reservation required, lowering the barrier for Shanghai’s youth and beauty communities to participate.
