Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation Provides $2M for Black Students

The Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation has announced a $2 million commitment to support scholarships for Black, African, and African American students. This initiative aims to address systemic racism and racial injustice by creating more pathways for equity within the fashion industry and beyond, starting with education.

The Foundation’s scholarship program will benefit students at Morehouse College, Spelman College, and 10 additional historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) through the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). The scholarships will be awarded to 30 need-based recipients, providing up to $3,666.66 per year for two years, pending satisfaction of renewal requirements. Eligible scholars must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and demonstrate unmet financial need as verified by their college or university.
