Dior Has Postponed ‘Indefinitely’ Travis Scott’s Collection

The collaboration between Travis Scott and Dior was unveiled during Paris Fashion Week in June 2021, garnering much excitement from fans.

However, after the Astroworld tragedy, which resulted in the deaths of 10 people and numerous injuries, Dior announced the postponement of the collection out of respect for those affected by the incident. The decision to delay the launch was reportedly mutual between Dior and Travis Scott.

In addition to Dior, other brands such as Nike also distanced themselves from the rapper. Nike postponed the launch of their sneaker collaboration with Scott’s Cactus Jack label, citing respect for those impacted by the Astroworld Festival.

Despite these setbacks, Travis Scott has been gradually making a comeback, with plans to release his fourth studio album, “Utopia,” in June 2023.
