Canada Goose is set to launch an innovative experiential pop-up store dubbed “The Arctic Lab” at Selfridges in London, with a focus on merging retail, education, and animal conservation. This unique concept aims to offer customers an immersive experience highlighting Canada Goose’s partnership with Polar Bears International (PBI). The pop-up, located within Selfridges’ Menswear Atrium, will open on November 4, 2024, and run for two weeks.
The Arctic Lab is designed to mimic the architecture of PBI’s Arctic research centers and showcases Canada Goose’s signature ‘PBI Blue’ jacket. It aims to amplify PBI’s crucial work through immersive video content that includes tracking polar bears in the wild, a live Polar Bear Cam, and visual overviews of the organization’s ongoing research.
Beyond the immersive educational elements, Canada Goose will feature exclusive products from its PBI Collection, including the PBI Chilliwack Bomber and PBI Expedition Parka. These items are tailored to be…
both Arctic and urban-ready, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to performance and innovation.
Customers will also have the chance to personalize their purchases with elements such as the PBI logo, or the coordinates of either PBI’s base in Churchill, known as the ‘Polar Bear Capital of the World,’ or Canada Goose’s London store on Regent Street.
This customization feature not only enhances the customer experience but also strengthens the connection to the brand’s narrative. An important aspect of this initiative is its conservation efforts.
A portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to Polar Bears International to support their work in addressing climate change and other threats to polar bears. This pop-up is part of Canada Goose’s broader strategy to innovate and offer unique customer experiences while highlighting its dedication to environmental causes.
