Audemars Piguet Parallel Delivers an Electrifying Night at Montreux Jazz Festival
Audemars Piguet turned its latest Audemars Piguet Parallel event into a high voltage celebration of electronic music, with an electrifying night headlined by RÜFÜS DU SOL (DJ SET) and an opening performance from JIMI JULES. Set within the wider context of the Montreux Jazz Festival, the evening brought artists and audiences together around a shared love of sound, emotion and live performance under the umbrella of the brand’s APxMusic programme.
The night opened with JIMI JULES, whose distinctive blend of electro beats and multi instrumental approach set the tone for a journey that blurred genres and tempos. His set moved through textured rhythms and atmospheric builds, warming up the crowd and the space before handing the decks to RÜFÜS DU SOL. Known for their emotionally charged, cinematic electronic sound, RÜFÜS DU SOL (DJ SET) took the audience deeper into a musical journey, layering driving beats with melodic progressions that turned…
the Parallel venue into a pulsing, immersive environment. For Audemars Piguet, Parallel is more than a concert; it is a signature experience that sits at the fringes of the Montreux Jazz Festival, offering select artists the chance to perform in intimate, often unexpected locations across the Montreux Riviera.
As Global Partner of the festival since 2019, the manufacture uses Parallel and APxMusic to foster encounters between watchmaking and music bringing together technical excellence and creative expression in ways that feel both exclusive and open-hearted.
Through APxMusic, Audemars Piguet celebrates the creative energy and diversity of music, supporting artists from different backgrounds and genres while inviting its community to experience performance as a language of emotion.
Parallel nights like the one with RÜFÜS DU SOL and JIMI JULES are designed to feel like escapes from time: limited access events where sound, scenography and setting combine into moments that linger long after the last track fades.
