Anthropologie Delivers 5% Revenue Growth With Beauty Leading the Way

The quarter also marked Anthropologie’s 15th consecutive quarter with a double digit operating income rate. The result came as URBN reported record second quarter sales and profit performance, with total company net sales reaching $1.7 billion, up 10% year over year.

Apparel and Beauty Drive Momentum Anthropologie’s apparel and accessories business delivered positive comparable sales during the quarter, led by dresses, bottoms and shoes. These categories supported the retailer as it shifted from summer product into early autumn deliveries.

Dresses remain a key category for the brand, supporting occasionwear, seasonal styling and wardrobe refreshes. Strength in bottoms and shoes also points to demand across full-outfit purchases rather than one specific product category. Beauty was another standout, delivering high single-digit comparable sales growth.
