LOEWE Connects the New Whisker Bag With Its Signature Intarsia Leatherwork

LOEWE is introducing the Whisker bag by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, connecting a new silhouette with the house’s leatherworking identity. The design combines a relaxed body with a structural handle, an enlarged zip opening and elongated pullers, with a multicoloured intarsia version among the options.

Its official product presentation shows the Whisker in checked leather intarsia and glazed leather, giving the silhouette both a pattern-led expression and more understated colour variations.

A New Shape With an Established Craft Reference The intarsia version is the clearest connection to LOEWE’s established techniques. Different pieces of leather are assembled into a coordinated surface, making the construction of the pattern part of the product story.

LOEWE’s accompanying film takes that process into the workshop, showing material preparation and stitching. The result is a launch narrative that explains how the bag is made alongside what distinguishes its shape. Building Distinction Within One Handbag Family The combination gives one design several points of distinction.
