MAC VIVA GLAM Grants $500,000 to Girls Inc. for Health Education and Career Exploration

says its work with Period Education Project began in 2023 and has reached more than 2,500 participants across the United States and Canada. Medical students lead the community workshops, known as PEP Rallies.

The new funding will support further education, resources and career exploration, bringing health knowledge and exposure to healthcare professions into the same programme. “This program recognizes that preparing girls for the workforce starts with supporting the whole girl,” said Dr. Stephanie J.
