Crate & Barrel Opens NYC Flagship Store

Nestled in the heart of New York’s esteemed retail and design quarter, the expansive 23,000-square-foot store spans two levels and has been thoughtfully restored by Crate & Barrel‘s own architecture and design team.

Their mission was to retain much of the historical essence of the building, which dates back to 1868 and was once celebrated as New York’s Palace of Trade. The store’s design features a striking volcanic ash tile wall, a tribute to the vibrant spirit and ongoing evolution of the city.
