Estée Lauder and Nykaa launch retail program for new Indian beauty brands

The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) and NYKAA, one of India’s leading omnichannel beauty and lifestyle retailers, are excited to announce the launch of BEAUTY&YOU India. The program will support India-focused companies and entrepreneurs with awards to both pre-launch and in-market premium beauty concepts; selected participants will have the chance for retail distribution with NYKAA.
“Our ambition is to partner with disruptive brands and founders who build upon the values and passions of today’s (and tomorrow’s) consumers,” said Shana Randhava , Vice President, New Incubation Ventures, The Estée Lauder Companies.
Winning companies will receive a package of resources from The Estée Lauder Companies and NYKAA including financial support, mentorship, distribution access and additional opportunities. The total prize pool is 4 Cr. In addition, each company will have the potential to build a long-term partnership with Estée Lauder New Incubation Ventures (the strategic early-stage investing and incubation arm) and NYKAA.

I am a speaker, consultant and former senior managing director of The School of Retailing, University of Alberta. My education includes a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from The University of Alberta in Marketing, Certificate in Real Estate and a Diploma in Fashion Merchandising and Buying from LasSalle College, a Canadian private school founded in 1959 by fashion designer Jean-Paul Morin.
