HOKA Ambassador Becs Gentry Takes on 101 Kilometres at CCC

For Becs Gentry, the trail has become a place to reconnect with herself. The British runner is known for her road-running background, elite racing experience and role as a Peloton instructor, but her latest challenge is set far from the predictable rhythm of city streets and standard marathon courses.

This summer, Gentry will line up for CCC, the 101-kilometre Courmayeur Champex Chamonix race held during HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc week. The event starts in Courmayeur, Italy, crosses through Switzerland, and finishes in Chamonix, France. It will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026.

CCC is one of the defining races of the UTMB week, bringing together leading trail runners and ambitious amateur competitors for a course that demands endurance, climbing strength, careful pacing and technical skill.

The route includes 6,050 metres of elevation gain, presenting a very different challenge from the road races that have shaped much of Gentry’s athletic career. The race is sometimes described as the “little sister” of the full UTMB, but the description does not make the task any easier…
