Roger Vivier has opened its new flagship atelier at 20 rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré in Paris, marking one of the most significant retail moments in the Maison’s recent history. Spanning two floors, the boutique is the largest Roger Vivier store in the world, and sits just steps from the site of Monsieur Vivier‘s original atelier on rue Royale, where he first opened his doors in 1937. The address is not simply prestigious; it is personal.
A Space Built Around Craft and Atmosphere
The interior reads as a physical expression of the Maison’s aesthetic language, brought to life through a considered layering of materials, textures, and design objects. A monumental staircase in Pierre de la Croix Huyart anchors the ground floor, while walls finished in cream and mother of pearl stucco create a sense of softness and depth throughout the space. An eclectic mix of artworks and design pieces completes the environment, balancing precision with warmth in a setting that functions as both a retail destination and creative statement.
Two Parisian Addresses, One Identity
The Faubourg Saint Honoré opening follows the inauguration of Maison Vivier at 98 rue de l’Université in Saint Germain des Prés, which opened in October 2025 during Paris Women’s Fashion Week. The 1,400 square meter rue de l’Université space, housed in an 18th century hôtel particulier built in 1729, brings together the Maison’s corporate offices, the creative studio of artistic director Gherardo Felloni, and a dedicated archive of over 1,000 shoes. Together, the two addresses define a complementary Parisian presence: one devoted to creation, heritage, and culture, the other to the retail experience.
A Maison Rooted in Paris
Roger Vivier, owned by Diego Della Valle‘s Italian Tod’s Group, has always maintained Paris as the spiritual and creative center of its identity. Monsieur Vivier himself was a fixture of Parisian couture life, dressing everyone from Queen Elizabeth II to Marlene Dietrich, and the brand has never strayed far from the city’s fashion geography. The return to Faubourg Saint Honoré, one of Paris‘s most storied retail addresses and home to a number of the world’s leading luxury houses, reaffirms that the Maison has no intention of doing so.
Setting a New Benchmark for Retail
Under the creative direction of Gherardo Felloni, Roger Vivier has been steadily sharpening its identity across both product and environment in recent years. The new flagship is the clearest physical expression of that direction to date, translating the Maison’s codes into architecture that goes beyond standard luxury retail. For a brand whose founder once described shoes as sculpture, a boutique conceived as both space and statement feels entirely right.
