Salomon Expands its New York Footprint With a Flatiron Store Built For Sports Lovers

Salomon has opened Salomon Flatiron at 141 5th Ave in New York City, a new store conceived as a meeting point for movement, community and culture in one of Manhattan’s most recognisable neighbourhoods. Positioned as the brand’s largest NYC store yet, the 4,390 square foot space connects performance innovation with everyday exploration, inviting runners, athletes and city communities to gather around a shared passion for being active.

A hub for movement and community Located in the Flatiron District, the new store is described by Salomon as “a space where performance innovation meets everyday exploration,” designed to feel as relevant to urban runners and commuters as to trail enthusiasts and hikers.

The brand’s communications emphasise that the store was created as a community hub, not just a retail box, with plans for group runs, product drops and social events that deepen ties with local athletes and outdoor fans.

This Flatiron opening marks Salomon’s fourth store across the five boroughs and seventh North American location, signalling how seriously the French mountain sports brand is investing in New York as a key city for running, sportstyle and outdoor lifestyle.
