Balmain Brings Antonin Tron’s Debut Collection to Galeries Lafayette’s Windows

For the project, artist Jeanne Briand has reinterpreted a bedroom in white felt. The restrained setting frames the collection’s silks, satins and metallic surfaces, putting material contrasts at the center of the presentation.

A Creative Transition at Street Level The installation gives a new designer era a retail expression beyond a runway image. Passersby encounter the collection through space, light and texture before deciding whether to enter the department store.

The window therefore performs an introductory role: it explains a visual direction without requiring prior knowledge of the collection. The wider project imagines Galeries Lafayette as a family home, with different fashion houses interpreting individual rooms.
