UNIQLO Adds Repair and Personalization to Renovated Montreal Flagship

The renovated location introduces UTme! custom T-shirt and tote printing and a RE.UNIQLO Studio offering embroidery and clothing repairs. These services are being introduced in Quebec at the flagship only.

The six-year-old store also gains updated changing rooms, sales floors, ceilings, mannequins, lightboxes and digital screens. UNIQLO has not disclosed the renovation budget or a change in floor area.

The additions give customers reasons to visit beyond purchasing new clothing: they can alter, personalize and extend the use of existing items. That makes the reopening a change in the store’s role, rather than simply a visual refresh. UNIQLO reports 39 Canadian stores.

The Montreal Eaton Centre location was its first in Quebec when it opened six years ago.
