Louis Vuitton has unveiled its groundbreaking entry into the cosmetics world with La Beauté Louis Vuitton, a luxury makeup line set to debut in Fall 2025. Leading this venture as Creative Director of Cosmetics is Dame Pat McGrath, the British makeup icon and founder of the billion-dollar Black-owned beauty empire, Pat McGrath Labs. This collaboration merges McGrath’s visionary artistry with Louis Vuitton’s legacy of craftsmanship, signaling a transformative moment for inclusivity and innovation in high-end beauty.

Pat McGrath: A Trailblazer in Beauty Dame Pat McGrath, often hailed as the “most influential makeup artist in the world” by Vogue, has reshaped global beauty standards over her 30-year career.

Born in Northampton, England, to a Jamaican mother, McGrath’s early fascination with makeup evolved into a career marked by runway collaborations with designers like Alexander McQueen and John Galliano.

Her eponymous brand, Pat McGrath Labs—launched in 2015 and valued at $1 billion by 2019—redefined inclusivity with bold product lines and viral innovations like the $40 Gold 001 pigment that sold out in six minutes.
