Louis Vuitton Unveils a Venini Glass Trophy for the 2026 Dolomites Classic Run

Louis Vuitton has revived its Classic Run with the 2026 Dolomites edition, a four day journey through Italy that brings together historic automobiles, art, travel and the House’s trunk making heritage. At the centre of the event is a new trophy by designer Sabine Marcelis, crafted by Venini and presented in a bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk.

The Louis Vuitton Dolomites Classic Run runs from September 1 to 4, taking vintage cars from the Venice area through the Dolomites and towards Monza ahead of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix. The event marks the return of a motoring tradition that first began in 1993.

A Return to the Road The 2026 Dolomites Classic Run brings back a Louis Vuitton tradition after a 14 year absence. The event was created to connect the House’s heritage in travel with a passion for automobiles, craftsmanship and memorable road journeys.

This edition begins at Villa Pisani in Stra, near Venice, before travelling through the Dolomites and ending around Monza. The route brings together 25 historic cars from around the world for a road experience that celebrates classic motoring rather than a conventional high speed race.

The run covers around 600 kilometres across four days. Participants travel through northern Italy’s landscapes and historic locations, creating an itinerary that places cars, culture and craftsmanship at the centre of the experience…
