Miu Miu Brings Alice Diop’s First Exhibition to Art Basel Paris With Free Admission

Alice Diop Moves Beyond the Cinema Screen Miu Miu describes the project as Diop’s first exhibition. Film, photography, sculpture, poetry, dance, music and performance will come together in a presentation centered on Black creativity and the reconsideration of historical representations.

The partnership gives the brand a public cultural setting beyond its stores. Rather than presenting a collection, Miu Miu is supporting a filmmaker’s move into an exhibition format and making the result accessible during Paris’ art calendar.

How to Visit The exhibition will be open to the public at Palais d’Iéna during the October 21–25 run. Online registration for guided tours is scheduled to open on October 8 through Miu Miu’s official website.
