Outfits: A New Era for Depop
With the launch of Outfits, Depop is transforming its already popular marketplace into a daily destination for inspiration and self-expression. “From outfit planning and style exploration to creating content for social sharing, Outfits puts the power of self-expression in the hands of our users—no pins, no tabs, just style made simple,” explains Sonia Biddle, Depop’s Interim Chief Product Officer & Marketing Leader.

Buyers can pull items from any listing, combine them into unique ensembles, and instantly shop the entire outfit directly within the app—a standout first for the resale space. There is no need to hop between tabs or use other social media for planning: “Style made simple,” as Biddle puts it.
Key features include: Browsing listings, selecting items, and building Outfits via the scissor icon. Automatic background removal for seamless moodboard creation. Saving, editing, and shopping Outfits later via Likes & Saves. Every item in an Outfit is shoppable; if something sells out, similar items are suggested.
