Alaïa’s First Miami Design District Boutique Is Where Halleroed Reimagines Art Deco Through The Maison’s Sculptural Lens

Art Deco, through the Alaïa lens Longtime collaborator Halleroed has used Miami’s historic Art Deco architecture as a starting point, then filtered it through ALAÏA’s design language of precision and sensuality.

The boutique’s architecture features clean lines, curved walls and organic forms that soften the geometry of the space, establishing a visual rhythm that feels both architectural and bodily much like Alaïa’s clothes.

Almost every surface, from floors to walls to façade, is enveloped in soft pink mosaic tiles, forming a continuous, sculptural environment that blurs interior and exterior. This pink skin becomes the store’s defining gesture, setting it apart within the Design District’s luxury retail landscape.
