ALAÏA has officially arrived in Miami, opening its first boutique in the Miami Design District with a space that reinterprets the city’s Art Deco heritage through the Maison’s sculptural, sensual design language. Designed by Swedish architecture studio Halleroed, the new store wraps curved geometries, pure lines and organic forms in signature pink mosaic tiles, creating a sanctuary where intimacy, purity and sculptural beauty feel distinctly Alaïa yet attuned to Miami.

Art Deco, through the Alaïa lens

Longtime collaborator Halleroed has used Miami’s historic Art Deco architecture as a starting point, then filtered it through ALAÏA’s design language of precision and sensuality. The boutique’s architecture features clean lines, curved walls and organic forms that soften the geometry of the space, establishing a visual rhythm that feels both architectural and bodily much like Alaïa’s clothes.
