LOEWE FOUNDATION Opens The 2027 Craft Prize With a €50,000 Award for Global Artisans

LOEWE FOUNDATION has opened submissions for the 2027 LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize, continuing its commitment to championing artists and artisans who push the boundaries of contemporary craft. The international award, now in its 10th edition, is open to professional makers around the world and will culminate in an exhibition of shortlisted works in spring 2027.

Inspired by LOEWE’s history as a leather workshop founded in 1846, the prize celebrates technical excellence, artistic intent and innovation across a broad range of craft practices. It is designed to recognise makers who work with traditional skills while bringing new ideas, materials and perspectives to the discipline.
