OneSkin is a science-based skincare brand making waves, founded by Carolina Reis Oliveira, Alessandra Zonari, Mariana Boroni, and Juliana Carvalho. Its focus is on using biotechnology to address the signs of aging in our skin. The company was officially formed in 2016 as part of the biotech accelerator IndieBio. The scientific team, comprising female PhDs, worked for over five years to create OS-01, the first peptide scientifically proven to target and reduce cellular senescence, thereby reversing skin aging.

Clinical trials have shown that the peptide results in a 14% to 18% reduction in trans-epidermal water loss, indicating a stronger skin barrier. OS-01 penetrates deep into the skin cells to boost collagen and hyaluronic acid production, and enhance cellular repair.

This peptide composition significantly improves skin barrier function, reduces wrinkles, enhances skin texture, and improves overall radiance.

These peptides have undergone extensive clinical testing, including a 12-week double-blinded split-face study, which demonstrated its efficacy in improving skin characteristics and reducing the skin’s biological age.
