On Opens its First Brazil Store With a 250 Sq. Metre Home at JK Iguatemi
Onhas officially opened its first store in Brazil, choosing JK Iguatemi in São Paulo for its debut. The new location marks a major step in the Swiss sportswear brand’s expansion in Latin America, bringing its footwear, apparel and accessories directly to the Brazilian running and lifestyle community.
Located at Avenida Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek 2041 in Itaim Bibi, the store opened to the public on 30 July 2026. It is the first of two On stores planned for São Paulo, followed by a second location at MorumbiShopping, which opened on 6 August.
For On, the arrival in Brazil is about more than opening a retail location. It is an opportunity to connect with a market where movement is part of everyday life. From running and training to football, tennis, gym culture and outdoor activity, sport has a powerful presence in the lives of Brazilian consumers.
The JK Iguatemi store has…
been designed to reflect this connection between global performance and local culture. Spanning 250 square metres, the space draws inspiration from the architecture of São Paulo, combining the brand’s Swiss design language with references to the city’s creative energy.
The interior takes cues from the visual identity of SESC Pompéia, the cultural and sports complex designed by Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi. The landmark is known for its concrete structures, bold red details and bridges that create a sense of movement between spaces.
These ideas are translated into the On store through architectural elements, material contrasts and touches of red. This approach gives the store a character that feels specific to São Paulo. Rather than replicating a standard global retail format, On has created a space that acknowledges the local environment.
The result is a store that brings together Swiss engineering and Brazilian energy in one carefully designed setting.
