INUIKII, the Swiss premium footwear brand founded in 2013, has successfully gone live with Centric PLM, completing the full implementation on scope, on time, and on budget in just seven months. The announcement was made on April 9, 2026, by Centric Software, the Campbell, California based enterprise solutions provider whose PLM platform is widely used across fashion, footwear, and luxury.
For a family owned brand managing several hundred SKUs per season, coordinating with over 50 material suppliers and manufacturers across Europe and Asia, the need for a centralized product data system had become impossible to ignore.
A Brand Outgrowing Its Own Infrastructure
INUIKII sources 90% of its materials and carries out 60% of its production in Europe, with the remaining 40% in Asia. As seasonal collections expanded and SKU complexity grew, product data was scattered across spreadsheets, emails, and individual tools, reducing transparency across teams and making supplier communication increasingly fragmented.
Alessio Maag, Co-Founder and Chief Production Officer at INUIKII, says that “Centric stood out thanks to its deep fashion and footwear industry expertise, as well as its reputation — many of our suppliers were already familiar with it. Centric PLM‘s flexibility, scalability and strong industry references gave us confidence it would support both our current needs and future ambitions.”
Seven Months From Kick Off to Go Live
After a rigorous selection process, INUIKII moved from project kick off to go live in just seven months, using a phased approach that established core product data and seasonal workflows before expanding functionality. The brand has now begun onboarding suppliers, a critical next step in building the connected, transparent supply chain INUIKII has been working toward.
“Centric PLM has been one of, if not the smoothest implementation I’ve been through, with scope, timing and budget all managed well,” Maag says. “The phased approach enabled us to manage change while maintaining day-to-day operations, and teams are already seeing advantages from working with a single source of truth.”
What Comes Next
INUIKII plans to expand its use of Centric PLM into new product categories, strengthen sustainability tracking, and connect additional tools into a broader digital ecosystem. The brand’s ambition is to build a fully connected operational environment, not a collection of isolated tools, taking a step by step approach aligned with its ongoing growth.
Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, said, “INUIKII‘s go-live marks an important milestone in its digital transformation journey. We’re pleased to support INUIKII as they continue to modernize their product operations and position the brand for long-term growth with Centric PLM.”
INUIKII offers a clear piece of advice for other brands. Define objectives early, involve key users from the start, and treat PLM not as an IT project, but as a company wide transformation of how you work.
