TAG Heuer Brings Japanese Racing Heritage to Its New Team Ikuzawa Carrera

The 39 mm steel chronograph is inspired by the timing instruments that measured decisive moments on racing circuits. Its red and white dial references vintage Heuer Roadmaster stopwatches, while the Carrera Glassbox case connects that history with a modern execution designed for collectors and motorsport enthusiasts.

A Second Chapter in Racing History The new Carrera Chronograph x Team Ikuzawa follows the first collaboration between TAG Heuer, Team Ikuzawa and Bamford Watch Department, which launched in 2023.

That initial release featured a 42 mm Carrera powered by the Calibre Heuer 02 movement and established the creative relationship between the Swiss watchmaker, Japanese racing collective and British customiser. For the second chapter, the three partners have introduced a more compact 39 mm Carrera Glassbox model.

The new format gives the watch a different proportion while maintaining the collaboration’s focus on racing heritage, precision and bold graphic design.
