Coach has officially begun rolling out its newest store concept with the launch of a striking two-story location at Chongqing Longhu in China, signaling a bold new chapter in the brand’s retail design direction. The Chongqing Longhu store announces itself with a double-story glass facade, anchored by a large, illuminated “C” logo that serves as an oversized brand beacon, equally dramatic by day or at night. The landmark monogram marks a design shift toward confident exterior branding, turning the storefront itself into a visual signature for Coach.
Step inside and the tone shifts from bold to intimate. The two-floor interior embraces a warmer aesthetic, layering wood and leather accents throughout both levels. The material palette is a deliberate nod to Coach‘s craft heritage, with textures that echo the brand’s roots in fine leather goods and speak to a more tactile, inviting in-store experience.
China remains a critical growth market for…
Coach and parent company Tapestry. The brand currently operates 400 stores across 90 cities in China, with Tapestry planning to add approximately 100 new locations over the next two to three years. That momentum is reflected in results: Coach‘s Greater China revenues surged 58% in Q3 2026.
The Chongqing opening is part of an ongoing rollout of this new concept store format, meaning more locations around the world can be expected to adopt this updated look in the months ahead.
The Chongqing Longhu store was brought to life by a dedicated regional creative and construction team including Liliana Lucioni, Rick Wang, Rebecca Li, Ecko C., Yan Grinshteyn, Joanna Roopchand, Chloe Chudina, David Huang, and Sandeep Seth
